This smoothie is filled to the brim with goodness to help you kick the day off right. Matcha green tea is packed with antioxidants and has been shown to boost metabolism. Lemons are rich in vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant to protect against inflammation and cell damage. Lemon juice is also very alkalising, supporting the liver, bile and digestion. Blueberries are high in Vitamin C, K1 and manganese. It also contains quercetin which is a natural antihistamine. Adding the protein will also help balance blood sugars, avoiding sugar spikes.

  • 1 tsp Matcha green tea powder
  • 250ml nut milk
  • 1 scoop pea protein powder (I like sun warrior warrior blend)
  • Small handful blueberries
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
